Day's Overview

After a friendly meet & greet, we catch a train to Arth-Goldau, where adventure kicks off aboard Europe’s very first cogwheel railway.

This historic ride takes us to the summit of Mount Rigi, the “Queen of the Mountains,” where jaw-dropping 360° alpine views await.

At the top, we breathe in the fresh mountain air before heading to a charming, 7th-generation, family-owned dairy, where we step behind the scenes of traditional Swiss cheese-making—authentic, local, and unforgettable.

Feeling inspired? We continue with an easy downhill hike (3 km / 2 miles, approx. 2 hours) from Rigi Kulm to Rigi Kaltbad, winding through peaceful alpine trails. Prefer to relax? We can take the scenic train instead.

Then it’s time to unwind in style at the Rigi Kaltbad mineral baths. For over 600 years, these warm, healing waters have attracted wellness seekers from all over—now it’s your turn to soak, recharge, and let the views do the rest.

To cap off the day, we glide down to Weggis by gondola, then cruise across Lake Lucerne by boat—an hour of pure Swiss serenity—heading back with memories as elevated as the mountains themselves.
